🏏 𝕌𝟙𝟚’𝕤 ℂ𝕣𝕚𝕔𝕜𝕖𝕥 𝕍𝕤. ℂ𝕒𝕝𝕕𝕖𝕨 🏏 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟳’𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱 On Tuesday our Year 7 boys headed to Caldew for a lovely summers evening of cricket. The game started well, with Central batting first, the lads were confident with the bat and tallied up a good score, with their communication and running between the stumps being one of the highlights. They continued to shine was when it was our turn to bowl & field, the whole squad did very well again, taking 3 wickets in 1 over at one point! Their bowling, fielding, and backing up all paid off in the end, earning us a great win over Caldew. 🏃‍♀️𝔼𝕟𝕘𝕝𝕚𝕤𝕙 𝕊𝕔𝕙𝕠𝕠𝕝𝕤 ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕞𝕡𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕤𝕙𝕚𝕡𝕤 🏃‍♀️ 🥈 𝘼𝙢𝙮 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝘽𝙞𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙝𝙖𝙢 🥈 A huge well done to Amy (Year 9), who represented Cumbria in the Junior Girls 200m at the English School’s Championships in Birmingham today. From her heat she qualified for the finals with the second fastest time, a very fast 24.49s. In the final Amy brought home the silver medal. 💃🪩 𝕐𝕖𝕒𝕣 𝟙𝟛 𝔽𝕠𝕣𝕞𝕒𝕝 𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟞 💃🪩 Last Friday we had an amazing evening celebrating our Year 13 Class of 2026 at The Creighton. A huge shout out to the Year 13 student leadership team (especially Molly) for their hard work in organising such a fantastic evening. You all looked absolutely fantastic! It was lovely to celebrate our 7 years together and your growth into adulthood, we do still remember most of you as quiet, nervous year 7’s all those years ago! 🏃⛹️‍♀️ 𝕊𝕡𝕠𝕣𝕥𝕤 𝔻𝕒𝕪 𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟞 🏃‍♀️ ⛹️ What a day we have had! Every year sports day seems to get better and that is down to our amazing students! ❤️💛💙 We had over 2000 event entries, have given out over 500 medals and made countless memories- a day which we could not be more proud of! But… we know the question on everyone’s minds is… who won?! We are going to keep you in suspense for the winners! But we had to share some pictures of our wonderful students… Who do you think wins best dressed house? 🟡 Team Valentia? They recorded the most event entries… but could they hit the podium? 🔵 Team Hadrian? They definitely brought the energy… but could the take the win? 🔴 Team Lugavalium? They took the most photos… but did they take the most wins? All will be announced next week!
