📖 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟳 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟴 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 📖 A reminder that we will be hosting our Year 7 and Year 8 showcase evening on Thursday 19th March 2026. This evening will run between 4pm and 6pm. We warmly invite all parents and carers of Year 7 and Year 8 students to come in to the academy to speak with their child’s subject teachers and take a look at the fantastic work that our Year 7 and Year 8 students have been completing across the different curriculum areas. The evening is also an opportunity for parents and carers to ask any questions, raise queries or address uncertainties that they may have. Please note, there are no formal appointments required to attend the evening. Parents and carers are encouraged to arrive at a time that is convenient for them. Parents and carers of Year 7 and Year 8 students have received an email letter this week with the finer details. We look forward to seeing you in the academy on Thursday 19th March. 🏏 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 🏏 🥉 3rd place finish for our Year 10 team!🥉 Yesterday, Our Year 10 Table Cricket team, alongside 6 umpires travelled from Central Academy all the way to Durham Cricket Club to attend the North of England Table Cricket Finals after batting and being successful in the two previous rounds. They set off early from school and travelled across to compete against teams from across the North of England. The team worked amazingly together and beat the team who was currently 3rd in England to finish the event third overall. Our student umpires had been requested to officiate at this event after being so good at the previous events, a real credit to their hard work and professionalism! 👏🏼 All the students had a brilliant day and were a credit to the academy. Finishing 3rd in the North of England is something they should all be very proud of, as we are! 🏆 #Inclusivity #Ambition #Resilience #Respect
