I am delighted to welcome you to Richard Rose Central Academy, which is part of United Learning.

🥫 𝔽𝕠𝕠𝕕𝕓𝕒𝕟𝕜 ℂ𝕠𝕝𝕝𝕖𝕔𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟞 🥫 Last week in assemblies, Mrs Barnsley launched our 𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟞 𝔽𝕠𝕠𝕕𝕓𝕒𝕟𝕜 ℂ𝕠𝕝𝕝𝕖𝕔𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟. This charity drive supports the Carlisle Foodbank who in turn support vulnerable families, older people and young adults in our city with short term supplies of food staples, toiletries and household products. The Foodbank relies on donations to stock their shelves and each year the donation from Central Academy is their single biggest contribution. Last year we collected and donated an amazing 2⃣6⃣5⃣ bags of food and supplies! In 2025 the Carlisle Foodbank gave out 10,021 emergency food packages to people in our city and 2349 of them were for children. In Christmas week 529 packages were handed out with 170 for children. All donations, no matter how little or large can be dropped with Mrs Barnsley in 𝟬𝟬𝟭 before 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟯𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 when the Foodbank volunteers are coming to school to pick up our bags of donations. #CentralToOurCommunity #Ambition #Resilience #Respect

🌼 𝕾𝖕𝖗𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖎𝖓𝖙𝖔 𝖘𝖈𝖍𝖔𝖔𝖑 🌼 💯 𝔄𝔱𝔱𝔢𝔫𝔡𝔞𝔫𝔠𝔢 ℭ𝔥𝔞𝔩𝔩𝔢𝔫𝔤𝔢 💯 This morning we drew week three of our 𝕾𝖕𝖗𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖎𝖓𝖙𝖔 𝖘𝖈𝖍𝖔𝖔𝖑 attendance challenge. Our second draw took place this morning, with 6⃣6⃣7⃣ students who have managed to achieve 100% attendance and no lates to school this week. Our live draw winner for this week was 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗦 (9AML) who won a £10 JD Sports gift card! We also announced our second tutor group prizewinners, ⬆️ This week’s greatest improvement in attendance, with growth of an amazing ②①.④% this week, was won by 𝟴𝗥𝗡𝗢. 🔝 Our top performing tutor group for this week, with a fabulous ⑨⑨.②% attendance this week was won by 𝟳𝗔𝗖𝗢.
