A Warm Welcome to Central Academy

🤝 𝔸𝕟𝕥𝕚-𝔹𝕦𝕝𝕝𝕪𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝔸𝕞𝕓𝕒𝕤𝕤𝕒𝕕𝕠𝕣 𝕋𝕣𝕒𝕚𝕟𝕚𝕟𝕘 🤝 📜 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙖 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 📜 Fifty students signed up to take part in Anti-Bullying Ambassador Training delivered through The Diana Award. Students looked at what bullying is, the different types of bullying, signs of bullying, what makes a good anti bullying ambassador and what to do if someone confides in them about bullying. Students split into three groups to work on their social action projects, choosing either community, inclusion or wellbeing as their focus. The teams will be planning, organising and delivering the initiatives throughout the academic year. 📖 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟳 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟴 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 📖 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 We warmly invite all parents and carers of Year 7 and Year 8 students to come in to the academy to speak with their child’s subject teachers and take a look at the fantastic work that our Year 7 and Year 8 students have been completing across the different curriculum areas. 📆 Thursday 19th March 2026 ⏰ 4pm – 6:00pm. 📍 Central Academy- Atrium The evening is an opportunity for parents and carers to ask any questions, raise queries or address uncertainties that they may have. 𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨. 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮. 🎫 𝓖𝓸𝓵𝓭𝓮𝓷 𝓽𝓲𝓬𝓴𝓮𝓽 𝓣𝓾𝓮𝓼𝓭𝓪𝔂 🎫 A huge well done to each of our students who achieved a 𝓖𝓸𝓵𝓭𝓮𝓷 𝓽𝓲𝓬𝓴𝓮𝓽 from last week, pictured are some of our amazing students who collected their tickets this afternoon! Each ticket winner has the chance to enter the draw to win one of this half terms prizes, which include… 🎮 An online PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo gift card, 🍫 A £50 deluxe Cadbury’s chocolate hamper, 🎁 The 𝔊𝔬𝔩𝔡𝔢𝔫 ℭ𝔥𝔬𝔦𝔠𝔢 prize, giving the winning student a choice of location for their £50 gift card. 💪🏼 𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓒𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓻𝓪𝓵 𝓗𝓸𝓾𝓼𝓮 𝓒𝓱𝓪𝓵𝓵𝓮𝓷𝓰𝓮 💪🏼 💼 The ‘sell me something’ challenge 💼 A huge well done to 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘆 (7JMC) who won this week’s house challenge! Audrey took home the win for house Hadrian where our student competitors had one minute to sell a random product, with Audrey’s sales pitch for her Rubix Cube winning the audience vote. A huge shout out to Lily (7BSH) and Eden (7ACO) who also participated in this weeks challenge, with both Lily’s sales pitch for her egg box and Eden’s tennis ball pitch both also being fantastic, pipped just in the audience vote! This leaves the standings table at...
