🌍𝗔-𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 🌍 Our A-level geographers recently spent a gloriously sunny day investigating the carbon and water cycles, using fieldwork techniques to measure infiltration rates, carbon stores and ecosystems within the River Eden drainage basin. They will be planning their own investigations later on this term and will use some of the research methods practised during the day. Thank you very much to the team at Susan's Farm CIO who supported us in this activity, we had a really informative session bringing the geography to life. #ALevelGeography #Ambition #Respect #Resilience

📋 𝗚𝗖𝗦𝗘 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 📋 We have had a wonderful day at Silloth today with our GCSE Geographers completing their compulsory fieldwork investigations. Students have researched the impact of Groynes as a method of management at the coast and the impact of tourism in the area.
